The Launch of the Union Center for Media Training in Iraq UCMT.IQ

Baghdad[may-31-2023] In commemoration of the birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (peace be upon him), the Chairman of the Media and Communications Authority, Dr. Ali Al-Muayyed, inaugurated the Union Center for Media Training in Iraq on Wednesday morning. The event was attended by the President of the Union of Iraqi Radio and Television Stations, His Eminence Sayyed Hamid Al-Husseini, along with a large number of dignitaries, scholars, directors of various media and press institutions, satellite channels, political analysts, media professionals, and journalists.

The theoretical part of the course was held at the Advanced Training Center for Leadership, while the practical part took place at the office of the channel in the city center over three days. The training program, attended by 26 members of the Media Department, covered various topics, including Skills in Identifying, Creating, and Marketing Media Content: Through journalistic and media institutions, as well as on social media platforms, particularly the official account of the command. Participation in Coverage and Security Activities: This included professional photographic documentation, news editing, report creation, and journalistic surveys. Event Monitoring and Field Interaction Techniques: Methods for effective communication with institutions and the community through media. The program aimed to enhance the participants' capabilities in handling media-related tasks and improve their technical skills in the field
